iPhone 12 launch on September 10. Apple usually holds an event in September to unveil its flagship smartphones globally. However, this time, the company has confirmed that due to the coronavirus pandemic, the launch will be delayed, and may possibly be held in October 2020.
It appears that the iPhone maker is now planning to organise an online event in September itself for its next big announcement – iPhone 12 lineup.
Prolific Tipster Mark Gurman shared a screenshot of a YouTube test live stream, which suggests that Apple is hosting a live stream on Thursday, September 10 for an event.
The tweet reads,” YouTube sent out alerts about an Apple live stream test for Thursday, September 10th. I wouldn’t mark your calendars though.”
⁸While there is no official information from Apple regarding a September 10 launch event, there are slim chances for it to take the wraps off iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max early next month.
Jon Prosser, who is known to share accurate information of Apple’s plans, recently suggested that the iPhone maker would hold the iPhone 12 launch on October 13 and start accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 12 on October 16. The company will further start delivering the new models starting October 23, 2020.
This year, Apple may bring four iPhones that will reportedly feature 5.4, 6.1, and a 6.7-inch size OLED screen with high-refresh-rate. The 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch iPhones are said to be top-specced models and 5.4-inch could be the affordable one. All the four devices will most likely get iOS 14 out of the box.
